Semi-Wordless Wednesday — My “Lucky” Bamboo Plant — Explains a lot.
Sheets! I think of sheets when I see Bamboo! 🙂 LOL
looks like something I would “grow”. what is the opposite of a green thumb? That is what I got….
I think someone pointed out, it is Black Thumb! Guess my luck ran out.
YAY! I have a Black Thumb too! My husband always asks, “Isn’t that why they sell artificial plants?” oi !
[…] I chose this post from a couple of months ago. It is entitled, “Darn the Luck.” […]
As soon as the page loaded, I identified with you. We recently murdered a night-blooming cereus that was a cutting from a plant my parents had neglected for years, and theirs thrived. Alas!
Oh no! Here from the future via Time Warp Tuesday… I remember getting your post in my inbox, though I would love for you to still comment/link up on my blog. I would do it myself, but am having LinkyTools issues (not the site’s fault, something with my router I think. Anyway, I appreciate the bitter-sweetness of this post. I have had a lot of bad luck with plants over the years and/or just don’t have a green thumb either. Sending you hugs from the future and heading back to see what you have to say about this two months after you first shared it. xoxo
Oh, my. I can’t tell you how many lush green bamboo plants have come into my home and died a slow, horrible, brown and decaying death.
At least we can laugh about it!
